MIR User Guide 24Oct2022
The MIR uses a Who, What, When and Where workflow. MIR uses convenient “speech to text” reporting but allows typing when needed too. It is fast and user friendly and can be used in both field and office operations. Android Users select the “speech to text” Mic & Start speaking. When speech stops the text is entered into the selected field. Apple iOS Users need to BOTH Start & Stop the Mic & the text is entered into the selected field.
Select the purple 'My Incident Report™ button then select a category to enter information and if none enter none.
Other features include the ability to upload photos, videos, audio as well as very important witness audio recordings. This workflow allows for a thorough collection of all valid and relevant data in one place. Uploads are fast with state of the art video compression. Once a MIR report has been completed it is distributed by email pdf.
When MIR is completed Then Sent & Emailed with MIR Report PDF ATTACHMENT
You may RENAME and EDIT the MIR Report PDF ATTACHMENT but DO NOT RENAME or EDIT the URL Links.
If you RENAME or EDIT the URL Links the URL links will be unusable.
The URL links are useful in helping safeguard personal information and respectiong privacy needs.
You can also open the Green Incident Report Folder an Share the MIR Report PDF ATTACHMENT.
A Network Connection is needed to START & later to SEND a Completed MIR Report PDF attachment in an EMAIL
User can EDIT, MODIFY the MIR & Secure it with PASSWORD &/or SHARE the Finished MIR With Others.
Users can COPY & PASTE the MIR into other Applications.
ADD ATTACHMENTS
This may significantly reduce the hardcopy paper documentation & Storage with inherent Filing limitations.
The latest analysis: We have been told that there could be a "Possible" 70% Workload reduction for Police Reports; however, Results will vary. Please advise us of your results.

MIR Sent & Emailed:
Once the completed MIR has been SENT to you it will have a PDF Attachment including links to Videos, Photos, Audio, Documents & Witness Audio.
You can still edit the MIR PDF attachment before sending the MIR to others but you will need a PDF Reader & a PDF Editor.
User can EDIT, MODIFY the MIR PDF & then Secure it with a PASSWORD &/or SHARE the Finished MIR With Others.

This may significantly reduce the hardcopy paper documentation. This will also reduce hardcopy paper storage & its filing requirements.

- A Network Connection is needed to START & later to SEND a Completed MIR Report PDF attachment in an EMAIL
- You can rename the URL link to save locally & share with others but it will invalidate the Original MIR Server URL link.
- When Sending a Completed MIR please make sure that the received email with a MIR PDF attachment has not been delivered to a Spam or Junk folder.
- The User/Reporter (not a news reporter) can enter the related data into the various fields or merely say or type "none".
- The User/Reporters data is device ephemeral (temporary).
- The User/Reporter can then Send a MIR email to just themselves (for potential editing) or to their selected Recipients as well.
- Witness AUDIO - When Witness Audio is Recorded make sure that you have a good network connection. Appears to be 2 or 3 network Bars Minimum before ADDING Witness Audio. Operationally 1 Bar appears to not be sufficient to ADSD Witness Audio.

“MY INCIDENT REPORT” (MIR) -with powerful audio “SPEECH TO TEXT” capability. “MY INCIDENT REPORT” can capture & organize data & information & create a FINAL Incident Report &/or provide the RAW DATA to Copy & PASTE into an existing separate Incident Reporting Application. The Convenience & ease of “SPEECH TO TEXT” capability allows report completion times to be reduced up to 70% reduction of time. The fields do not have to have any information entered. When words are not spelled accurately try spelling the word.
